Over the past two Christmases we have invited local charities to enjoy a Christmas party here in Graze.
Earlier this month we opened our doors to the Amicus Trust, a local charity on Prebend Street, which provides housing and support for people who have experienced homelessness. We invited the residents of Amicus Trust and two support workers to enjoy a three course Christmas lunch here in Graze, along with several members of the Verve and Bedford Heights teams.
A fantastic afternoon was enjoyed by all with two of the residents impressing us so much with their creative flair we have invited them to make Valentine’s table decorations for Graze. We are also exploring opportunities to assist some of the residents in finding employment.
Last Christmas, we had a great time with the charity Contact The Elderly with live music, dancing and lots of laughter.
